School Improvement Plan
Our Vision
At Five Lanes Primary, part of the Equa Mead Learning Trust since September 2025, our School Improvement Plan is anchored in our vision: “Working together to build a firm foundation for learning and flourishing.” Guided by our Christian ethos and our values of trust, respect, and compassion, we are committed to enabling every child to thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. Through a reflective cycle of self-evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and outcome analysis, we set ambitious priorities that reflect both our context and aspirations—strengthening phonics and early reading, embedding a love of reading in KS2, enriching writing and maths, securing excellence in Early Years, and developing curriculum progression across the school.
These goals are embedded in tailored action plans and underpinned by the Equa Mead Essentials, effective use of teaching assistants, and collaborative professional development across our Trust. Together, we monitor progress, celebrate successes, and adapt responsively, ensuring that every child flourishes—building strong foundations for learning and the confidence to flourish as individuals.
